He was picked from his class as Caring student of the month of February..:) and he also received Honor Roll for the 2nd marking period...: )

So far Jamie has been having a good year in school: )

This is what we woke up to on the first day of spring..lol

Meet Guinness...

Jamie and his class had to do a writing project for their class, and their teacher had them write a business letter to area vets looking for someone to help out Guinness. He is a English Bull Mastiff that weighs ONLY 185lbs (lol), that was left at a shelter because his two back legs needed an operation and the family that owned him couldn't afford the 7000.00 operation. On St. Patty's Day..Guinness had the luck of the Irish on his side, one of the girls letters from Jamies class was answered by an angel...Little Silver Animal Hospital owner, Dr. Richard Yacowitz, answered the call for help. Guinness, who shares his name with the popular Irish stout, is expected to have his surgery — when else? — Tuesday, St. Patrick's Day and Veterinarian Dr. Steven Cudia will perform the 90-minute procedure. Physical therapist Susan Davis said she will donate the three-plus months of rehabilitation Guinness will need.

Guinness has had the surgery and is on his way to recovery, he then will be put up for adoption and I am sure this BIG mush will be adopted by someone quickly. Jamie also said there is a chance he might be featured on a episode of Animal Planet in the future, I will let you all know about his future : )
